should a 1994 firebird formula have a speedo that only goes to 110? it has the forumla v8 decals and lt1 engine..but did they limit the speedo on the base model v8 cars back then? Im asking this because i found one for sale and on the pics of the inside the speedo is 110.

If it has a v8..... it should read 155, unless it came with non Zrated tires then it would have 115........

I've heard some 93's had a 110 speedo. I have no proof of this, but I am going to check into this.

1994 cars w/o z rated tires from the factory came equipped w/ a 115 mph speedometer.

I learned something new today, something kinda neat.

This is correct.
If the car was automatic w/2.73 gears equipped and was not ordered with Z rated tires it received the base 110 speedo. So the Tire option determines the Speedometer in this case as I had a `94 Formula A4 w/2.73's and it had Eagle GSC's and the 155 speedo.

Correct...my 94 hawk w/a4 and 2.73's has the 115mph too.
