"I will always remember Jack going to the GM Styling garage and getting in one of his signature triple-black Pontiac convertibles

When I was in high-school, a friend had a '69 Gran Prix w/ a 400, fast car. Loved the dashboard on those, every guage faced towards the driver. I guess I never realized it was based on a stretched A-body.

"We came up with one of the longest hoods in the industry."

No doubt, although the hood on the Toronados of those days was pretty friggin' long too, I had a '69 Toro.
