And this. And I agree, the free window tint would seal the deal.

Free tinting as a deal-maker I'd probably buy it just to be different as well...seeing that there won't be many 5th gen T/A's (converted or otherwise) on the road. This would make my stable very unique . But, on the other hand, a previous poster was right...why buy this for $63k when for a few dollars more you could get a Vette . Hell, I am pretty sure for that price you could also get a replica Reventon with a very powerful LSX engine.

You can also get a supercharged 2010 CTS-V for around $63K. Those cars are neat!

not sure how i feel about these custom shops comin out with their own verisions of the 2010 trans am... Dont get me wrong it is a GM product and it is pretty sweet that someone had the sense to bring it back with the new camaro seems how we cant rely on "government motors" to make a good decision lately... idk guess i just wish the real trans am was still around.

With all the different companies building their versions of a new Trans Am I think the Lingenfelter T/A looked the best but this version has grown on me.

what somebody needs to do is take the exsisting ta's and beef the hell out of them and sell them for same price as new camaro base...like give them new up dates...bigger badder engines that are supercharged and maybe come up with a new ground effects...not go retarted but give it more personality, not saying it doesnt already but still, just need to do something....the 98-02 ta's i believe are by far the best looking....hmmmm

Hey, we agree on something! It's find if they want to make something of what they feel would be the Trans Am of 2010 (Since there never will). But I don't understand how they can slap Pontiac and Trans Am emblems on the car. Then call it a Trans Am like a number of other companies. Overall it's a stupid idea that I no longer care for.

Got my copy of October 2010(!) HP Pontiac today, guess what car is on the cover, with some testing. Must say, I'm as dissapointed as they are with the 1/4 results, being a supercharged car that has 426 HP before the FI. They have all kinds of excuses....

They ran at Gainesville Raceway, said temps were 84-88 degrees. Best pass they had was an unimpressive 13.08/111.32. HP Pontiac always does a correction thing, correcting the pass for equivalent sea level, and came up with a theoretical 12.74/114.15. Gainseville has an elevation of 167 feet above sea level but they reported the density altitude ranged from 2033-2300 ft.

    Excuses given:
    Had 87 octane fuel.
Wheel/tire package not condusive to the drag strip. 22s on the rear, 295/30s.
Heavy. They report it is 170 lbs heavier than a non-altered Camaro.

Well they can prolly just do what GM did with the TRANS AM name and pay the SCCA seems how they trademarked the name first. As for the pontiac logos im at a loss. Maybe do the same and pay GM... Either way I did some more thinking and i have to agree that it is stupid. Right up there with kit ferraris and shelby cobras cause thats all this idea will ever be.... a kit, not the real deal.

I was thinking they would have to pay the SCCA, if not it will be comming.
