    Unhappy 02ws6 battery issue

    been thru 3 batterys in 9 months where should I start looking first thanks

    Ouch. That's a first on here that I have heard. Any work been done on the car? Aftermarket electrical accessories? Is it draining them, overcharging them or what?

    I would probably start with some draw tests. First with the key off and then key on.

    If you haven't found the cause are you using the same brand of battery each time? When I replaced my original battery I went through 2 failed Optima red tops in about 5 months. Decided it wasn't the right choice for me and picked up something different. I've had no issues for the last few years. I assume I was just unlucky as others haven't had issues with Optima.

    ^^ Not the first time an Optima owner has had issues on here. I went with an AC Delco when it was time to replace our battery and haven't had an issue.
