    02 WS6 question

I have a red 02 WS6, M6, with 19K miles. It has SLP long tube headers and a mild cam. I'm thinking of selling the car and would like to know if I should go back to the stock cam and exhaust, and what it should sell for. Thanks for your time and help.

I would just sell it as is. It probably won't make much difference in the price and is alot of trouble to change those items out. You might even sell it quicker with those mods. Those are mild (but effective) mods and since the mileage is so low, you shouldn't have any problem selling it depending on how much you want. Sounds like a nice car..

Post up some pics if you can. I'm kinda interested also. My parents live in OK so I could always make a road trip..

I'm not sure I realy want to sell it, that's why I posted in here. I was thinking $20k to $22K, but I'm sure if that was to high or not. If you would like some pictures I can send them to your e-mail address. Thanks for the feed-back.

if you're going by KBB, you won't get that. private buyer who knows more about it maybe could get more reasonable. Sadly, our cars kinda depreciate fast and stay that way before they become 'classics'. check kbb.com or try to post privately.

yeah. Sorry, but there's really no way to expect that now, especially now with brand new cars coming out for 16k? the G8 is coming out for how much? Sure, there is some idiot out there maybe who's friends wouldn't talk him out of it, but realistically it won't happen, expect 13k+ if you're lucky with no marks on it.

Kinda depends on the market in his area too... if there aren't any around him for sale.. hhe could get his asking price. I agree 22 is a little high.. I'd probably start 18 if its in good condition... cars with 40-60k on them here are going for that.

$13K, if that is all you want let me know I'll buy it and sell it for at least $18K. I think $20K+ for a 19K car is realistic if you do not mind waiting a little for it to sell. Look on autotrader, show me a low mileage '02 WS6 M6 for less than $18K.

you can't do it where I'm at cause there's no real demand for them. They should be worth more, but half the time people don't get that. and autotrader? that's people's asking prices for their cars.

So yeah.. post up what you want OBO.. and be patient.... there are people (like me) that have no patience... and want this car NOW.. so they will pay what you are asking to get it now..... good luck.

This statement contradicts itself. If you start at 18 because cars with 40-60k sell for that you are shorting yourself a few thousand dollars. Thus your car with 18k miles could sell for 20-22k.

Good point on the Autotrader being asking price, but even at that, I called on lots of cars and only a few even came off $2K and those were all asking over $20K.

Can you point me to one in your area with low miles for under $15K? I kind of hope not b/c it will make me sick (I just bought mine in April) but if they really exist that much cheaper there I will consider selling mine here for what I paid (including taxes) and get one there for several thousand less. I looked for a couple of months before finding mine and decent price (still was more than I had set out to spend).

I just paid $25k for a bone stock 02 NBM WS6 M6 with 1,400 miles (last march). I have driven the car 50 miles since (in my garage under the cover)...

A few days ago, a bone stock 02 Black WS6 M6 sold on eBay for $27.5k.

It just depends really. My $0.02 anyway.

Come back when you aren't smoking the pipe bro.

A car like his in my state would easily sell for that much. There was a guy around here that was selling his 30th Anniversary with 10K miles on it for $30K. Sold it in less than 2 weeks. Hell, the formulas with 50-60K miles are selling for around $15K-$16K
