01 WS6 wheels?

i saw in another thread where somebody questioned the fact that a guy had the 98-00 5 star 17" wheels on a 2001. they thought that all 2001-2002 had the updated wheels.. well, the car i'm looking to buy is a 2001 WS6 with the older chrome 17" wheels so there you go... you COULD get them on a 2001. i like the older ones 1000000 times better!

I like the older ones better myself. Especially on LT1 WS6's.. they look different for some reason to me, but probably really arent..

Well if this is simply a 'Poll', ..., I vote the earlier thinner spokes.
And yes, they were available on the 2001 model year.

I got the old style wheels, and the only thing I don't like about them is the ABS center caps

ABS

They are talking about 17'' WS6 wheels not the regular 16'' TA wheels. Those wheels have ABS on the caps.

Exactly,,,I was going to say the 17 inch WS6 only wheels actually say "WS6" in the center.

My vote is for both. I might favor the later 01-02 wheel a little more but wouldn't really care either way if my car had one or the other.

To answer your question yes early 01 came with the 98-00(01) wheels I'm sure they had left overs and just ran them out of stock then put the new speedline wheels on the rest.

I think both sets of wheels look awesome. Some of the early 2001's came with the 5 spokes, but most 2001 and all 2002's had the Speedlines.
