Finally got me a bird!
So as some of you know /i had been asking around to see if I should get an A4 or M6. The A4 had 55k on it and was '99 black WS6, but had some paint chips and cracked door panel. So I went with the M6 '01 with 55k on it. Before I got the car it had been 4 years since a drove stick. I am still getting yusto driving the manual so if you have some tips please share. I tend to have a problem from stop to first, it tends to be jerky, but I have gotten better. Anyways here it is and as soon as I have time I am going to change the oil, lid, clutch fluid, and trans fluid. I just hope I dont break this baby with my inexperience.

Damn! congrats! the car looks amazing, so clean, love the white. Good choice with the M6, you'll love it for the street. I dunno if there are any good tips, just keep driving it and you'll get a good feel with the car. One thing i can think of is, from a stop let the clutch out really really slow not giving it any gas, and when you feel the car move on its own, thats the spot where you wanna lay in on the accelerator.

Trans Am is a Trans Am. At least you didn't get a ricer or a Mustang. Good move and congrats. Nice car. Enjoy it and treat it well.

Thank you guys for the compliments and for the advise. Anyone have any tips on burn outs with a manual? Also while I am driving I notice the temp guage gets to half point at stays there no matter what, this normal?

I just dump the clutch at 5000 grand... Never has a chance to hook... then mash the brake and sit there burnin'em. Get good and you can row thru the gears while doing a burn out, I have not mastered this yet. Luos has a awesome video of a burnout going threw at least 4 gears.
Temp gauge is supposed to stay there, thats what a cooling system is designed to do, keep an engine at a specific temp.
