$3000 for mods
I got $3000 to spend on some mods my 01 ws6 is all stock where should I start? any help or advice would be great. Is the auto or 6 spd. better?

Black- 2000 Trans Am
Work with the tranny you have and build from there. Unless you plan to get serious at the drag strip, then the auto would be my chioce.
What tranny DO you have?

Pewter- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6
if its a track car then auto, street car then most prefer M6

I got the auto and the car has 242,000 miles on her I cant tell if it has been rebuilt or not.

start with full exhaust, lid, gears (4.10s for manual, 3.73s for auto), sfcs, a stall if u have auto, cam...
depends on what the car is going to be used for

since you have a auto get a good stall and then start with bolt ons, once you done most of them look at building up the rearend, luckily autos dont eat rearends like the M6 will

Helps you launch at higher rpms resulting in a faster take off. Youre looking at 500 - 800 dollars for stall (torque converter) depending on which one you go with.

wow.. 242k !!? did you buy it with that many on it or did you put them on? i just never seen a car period with that many miles.

what brand would be the best stall or does it matter?
