I believe you would see a slight gain in power but if ur gonna go thru all the work of swappin a cam, id get one that gave me more power.

I'd say he's on par, I have one in my car and I dyno'd 314.7 (A4) @6k rpm's, bout 320's @ 6500ish (plus other basic bolt on's lid catback smooth bellow etc) I did do 918 springs, Ti retainers and hardened pushrods so I can go bigger later, and let me tell ya ... I WISH I WENT BIGGER when I did it, cause it aint enough
PS I am doing 3.73 gears as I type this, cause the shit's too slow...I repeat what a dude said to me earlier and I wish to God I had listened, GO BIG or GO HOME.

get a stronger cam trust me, dont waste your time with a z06 unless you want a very very lightly modded car..but most people that swap their cams arent going for light

Well, some thing aint right I got the sheet in front of me .. altho you didnt say Mustang Dyno, and if those numbers are from a DynoJet, once they are SAE corrected, Thats about where I am now . Hell I got 320.9 with lid alone on a DynoJet, after Cam and Tune it was near 358 rwhp, but they aren't as accurate as a Mustang Dyno. There's a formula for setting the DynoJet to SAE corrected. I will find it and post it up.
From what the boys at the shop/track tell me, Dynojets have a freewheeling roller and lose some accuracy at the top end. The Mustang Dyno (set in the ground) has the capability to run resistance to the wheels, thereby simulating real world issues. Wind Drag, Uphill, towing etc and provide a much more real life reading.
PS If you ran those numbers on a Mustang Dyno, I would be very interested in talking to your tuner <grin> so he can talk to mine.Last edited by Crimson Sin; 05-17-2007 at 08:24 PM. Reason: PS typo
