    Don't tell anyone

You are right about the old part. Maybe if I were younger I'd be more apt to remove the t-tops. Back then I didn't worry so much about people stealing things.
Nowadays I can't park the car without locking it up. That means constantly removing and installing the tops while running errands, guess I'm too old for that
Which is why I like the vert for those days of top down driving, I can just push a button, lock the car up. Come back out, push a button and have the top back down.
Funny though, I'm not even driving that car much anymore anyway, go figure.

Lol and i thought t-tops were easy when compared to my 87 supra targa top which you have to put the top on then screw in 4 bolts to get it to lock into place. The little lever was much easier than what i was used to.

That's true. It's hard sometimes to comprehend how easy something is unless you've dealt with something harder.
Which is why I don't think I'll ever pull the roof off our 72 blazer either.

Sounds nice, but I have a pickup already, and my wife is currently driving the blazer to work everyday.

Guess I can't complain about T-tops, these blazer tops are pretty darn heavy

But it's understandable I don't want to bother with this either....

When I can jump in this and just push a button

Guess I'm just getting old like Zinergy says.

So you wanted a hard top like every other car in the world is available in?

Since it may have gone over your head, we are talking 4th gen F-Body here and the hardtop is not as common like the T-Top and vert cars.

Also not every other car in the world is a hardtop either Some have glass/targo tops, soft tops, sunroofs and T Tops. Thanks for playing.

Yes but almost every car that is available has a hard top as a base model. Yes hard top is rare for f-bodys but when compared to almost every other car ever made t-tops are much more rare. There are what 15-20 cars that were available with t-top option and what a million with a hard top option?

Whatever dude. We are strictly talking F-Body and not any other car are we? I am not going to debate with you. It is clear you missed the entire point that was being made.

My t-tops were not a deciding factor in the purchase, but I'm glad I have them over a hardtop. It's a personal preference, nothing more, just like how I love convertibles EXCEPT when the top is up.

As far as comfort though, if you have t-tops and live in warmer areas, the best purchase you can make is to add the inserts. Those make a huge difference on a sunny, 100 day.

I'm the opposite. I live in AZ where 100 degree + days are the norm, and I never use the shades,,,ever....
I find the factory tint to be so dark the sun doesn't even burn the top of my head, so it can't be all that intense

I actually enjoy the see through tops, and so does my son sitting in the back. I just don't have any desire to pull out the tops.

I wish mine was a hard top, I take my T-Tops out maybe 2 times a year and 99% of the time I have my covers in to give me the look of the hard top. Thats just me......and I'm known to be crazy
