I can't see there being any benifits to it really as I doubt it blocks incoming air that much. Add to that th increased risk of an accedent and anoyance of having a dirty windshield.

The risk to me does not equal the potentail minium gains.

well if you go mudding in a camaro then i could see having a dirty windshield would be a problem but i have had the car for 5 months and havent used windshield washer fluid once. Rain-x and just cleaning it every 2 days is good enough for me

i'm pretty sure my car still has some of the original washer fluid in it - not once have i ever used enough to make it low enough to fill. BUT it is there for a reason, and if you do need it you are going to kick yourself for taking it out.

Stupid idea to remove it imo you are not going to gain anything. Unless it is a full on drag car that never goes on public road, then whats the point of taking it out?

Your front brakes do most of the stopping so you might as well just remove the rear brakes for weight reduction

    jk about the last thing

It's not going to be a big enough benefit for the work you will have to do.

I have yet to add fluid to my either, besides it looks like it can hold almost a gallon anyway...

    Just under a gallon.

How could you all never use it much?

That seems a bit overkill. If you get that picky just always put half a tank of gas in. Then you cut 7Gallons of weight out of your car.

Or the fatass diet (I need) can cut 20-30lbs out. "I eat because I'm unhappy and I'm unhappy because I eat..." Vicious cycle.

I've only used mine once, to remove a thin layer of ice when I was going through withdrawls and had to drive her to work! I chucked though reading this thread remembering what my brother-in-law said when he saw mine the first time. (the washer fluid container) "Man, you could change your whole weight distribution percentage just by filling or emptying that thing!" That was funny

It might matter in a civic, but I don't think you have a problem in an LS1.

I really can't throw a unit of 2x6s and all my sales stuff in the back. Besides, makes it tough to concentrate on working when all I really want to do is drive it, FAST!!!!

that sounds to me like when a 16yr who is clueless about real go-fast cars pulls all of the interior out and rigs up a cold air intake on his 80bhp '95 civic so that he can finally crack into the 15's. You would do much better to look at a performance mod than to start removing things that have a purpose.
