True, but a good body shop can do the same for less more than likely, my dealer did more harm than good, they ended up breaking more things and scratched my tint to hell, and because I had took out the door speakers, they said my warranty was voided, charged me money, and didn't fix it.

I ignored mine when dealer failed to fix it and the window sliding broke my lock actuator and popped out my door handle bar, thus costing me more money when I got it fixed.

My car used to make the very same rattling sound, it drove me crazy. So, I went out and bought the solution, it has worked perfectly from day one. Just install long tube headers of your choice of brand, then install SLP's Loud Mouth exhaust system, I personally gurantee you will never be bothered by the rattle of your window(s) again. Sorry....couldn't help it

Id check the stabilzers, since the window's bow in the middle, it might be the problem, if there still intact, you can loosen them and slide them out toward window and retighten them. Just take off the door panel and their mounted on top, they are brass plates with carpet looking ends.

heard this from another fbody owner but he said" if you close your door ,pushing from the window , which most do it will make it loosen in time"

which i agree. these doors are way to heavy to just to reley on the strengh of the glass structure. soo now on i always close by pushing the door

Ya i hate when people go to shut my doors and use the top of the glass. That could explain why these window guides are prone to loosening or even breaking in many cases
