I guess we'll see what the stall did for mine in a couple days, although I'm going to run with stock BFG's, so I have to be gentle
I'm confident though that the previous 13.20 at 106 is beatable if the DA isn't horrible.

I ran my wifes 6 speed car a month ago, with no seat time, only got 2 passes on stock rubber, with a DA of 2,000 feet and a race weight of 3,750 lbs. It went 13.15 at 110 mph with an LS6 camshaft and long tube headers, and a tune I'm not done working on. Crossed the finish line in 3rd bumping the rev limiter at 6,500 It's got some more in it, needs a gear something horrible. I'm sure with more seat time I could pick that up a bit but the mph already indicates a solid mid to low 12 second car. Thats enough for my wife, although I may try an LS6 intake sometime in the future.

Yes. All NHRA rules are in play. If you have a power adder you'll need a jacket also. Faster than 11.50 and you'll need a cage, etc....

Ya, I'm going to find out how strict Speedworld is on Saturday, since I'm running a convertable they require a cage for anything faster than 13.50.

I've already wen't 13.20 with it back home, but the track was very easy on the rules.

I haven't been to Speed World in a couple of years but seeing how it's a Division 7 NHRA track you might not get cut any slack.

Ya I might be one and done

Thats okay, I just want an idea of what the converter did for it. Although I do have another tune I want to flash in for comparison sake, if I can get 2 runs in I'd be set.
If I wear out my welcome I may have to take it to another track some other time for another run or two
Guess I might be seein' ya down at Firebird soon

While I'll be at Firebird this Friday I may or may not be racing. My car is in the shop to see if we can get a set of gears installed that won't whine like a whore that hasn't gotten paid. While "testing" car decides to start running like crap. I'm leaving it in his capable hands to figure out what's up.

If nothing else I'll be there in the red Z but I'm not gonna try to run a 178,xxx mile car even if it does run like a top. It feels like a high 13 low 14 ride though.

Thats cool, I'll save Firebird for later if I get booted from Speedworld with this convertable. I don't run the car unless I've made a change to it, so it's not like it comes out much for track use.
Otherwise I have some other cars to run and play with and wouldn't mind making the trip down to Firebird. I'll have to check their schedule and see if there is any kind of big chevy meet coming up, I would like to get the chevelle out and pound on that for a while.
Speedworld has the pontiac meet in April that I plan to take my 70 formula to and race/show that weekend. It's all pontiac power on Saturday, but on Sunday they allow all muscle cars in so I may bring the Ventura back on Sunday for a few rounds since it's chevy powered.
Tomorrow after the races I'm going to hit the cruise at Safeway over near Beardsley and 99th on the way home. I'm sure we'll meet up eventually though, this state is only so big
