I noticed you put 3.8L for the motor. I thought all 95 Camaro's were 3.4L??

    93's and 94's had the 3.4
95 was the only year with both, it was an optional upgrade for the 3.8
96 and up have the 3.8

    Cool 2002 Ws6 & 2002 Z28

I bought a stock 2002 Trans Am WS6 A4 T-Top with 40,000 miles in September for $16,999. I have done well on ebay adding Hotchkis springs for $66, SLP rear control arms for $100, and SLP floormats for $75.

I bought a new 2002 Camaro Z28 T-Top A4 on Halloween 2002 for $23,000 and got it delivered to my work by the salesman and got 0% for 60 months financing. What happen to the good old days??? I made a big mistake and traded the car in in 2004 but got $22,000 for it.

Ah yes , triple black & 6-speed . Put you a white cue-ball on that Hurst shifter . The large size of the 2.5" ball is perfect for power shifting except for maybe a pearl handle pistol grip . I love to watch women power shift fast cars .

    Thumbs up A newbie

Picked up my 2002 SOM Z28 (auto) last Friday at lunch break...

Thanks to Toyota Motor Corp, my out of pocket money was only $2,500 for this ride... It was traded in last June by an 80 year old couple who bought it new in 2002... 35,300 miles total...

Pictures coming soon once the rain stops!

In the meantime, I'm lurking through so many threads researching a vast wealth of kickass information from many of you guys... Thank You!

    Immediate plans;

    Onyx Black
    2002 SS

I bought my '02 back in 2004 for $25K with only 800 miles on it. I had been looking for a while for a Black SS with low miles, 6-seed, Hurst shifter, ebony leather, just to name a few. A co-worker pulled up cars.com and found a guy selling his; the funny thing, he worked right down the street from my job. On top of that, he had already had some SLP bolt-ons added...see sig.

    2000 Camaro Z28 (sold)

    Cool

I bought mine new for $22,500. 2000 Z28, Black exterior/Gray Interior M6, T-Tops, Power driver seat, Monsoon CD player, but single CD. Gray Cloth seats though (at the time was going to get racing seats) so didn't care. As of today, a hair over 40,000 (approximately 1,000 after the LS6 conv.) miles are on it. Sorry no pics, because it looks bone stock on the outside except for the grille and SLP exhaust tips. Will have pics once the brake kit and rims are put on though........

Mods: GM LS6 conversion kit, SLP loudmouth exhaust (dual 3.5 tips), Edelbrock Headers (chrome), K&N FIPK, Granatelli MAF. Exterior: Grillcraft Grille.

I have the front and rear willwood brake kits w/(cross drilled rotors) sitting in my parents garage. I am trying to decide on what rims to get though. I want rims with at least a 2" lip. Everyone has the Z06 or ZR1 rims and I will probably end up doing the same (deciding on Black Z06's or Chrome Z06's). I am sort of interested in the Torq II's althought they are 17's and want at least 18's in the back. Recently looked at the Dale Earnhardt Jr. Killer Wheels.........any suggestions?

I forgot to add that I installed the centerforce clutch and flywheel when the LS6 conversion was done.

    Sadly now demodded :(

Right now I'm looking at a high mileage (170K) 98 Z28 M6 for $5600. Car looks good (photos). Will probably look at it this weekend. According to the guy who has it (a friend of mine) it's been well taken care of. He picked it up in SF and drove it to Phoenix about 6 months ago. It was gonna be a toy for him (he even bought a built 370 iron engine for it). Now he has had a 3rd kid so he doesn't have time for the project. Will follow up after I see it.

    2002 B4C

2002 B4C: I paid $6900 for mine last year w/99k. Thought I got a good deal till the tranny let go, $2300 rebuilt w/warranty. Replaced tires, brake pads & rotors, O2 sensors(fronts), tune up, hand controls, water hoses + mods(SLP lid, MAF, bellows,160 therm, 373, shorties and tuned to 315rwhp and 332rwtq and a few other small things) = $12k with everything. But it's almost NEW Oh and my insurance is 1k a year for 2 cars w/collision on both through AIG! Had Geico before that and it was about the same. I'm old and they must have misplaced my speeding tickets! Win some, loose some.
