What'd you pay for your ls1 car?

I am curious to see what everyone else has paid for their ls1 car. How about tossing in the mods as a separate number?

    2000 z28 black cammy w/ t-tops paid $9000 46,000 miles loaded - ss package.

It was a honda dealership and they thought it was a v6. I saw it on autotrader, listed as a v6 with pics of an 8 under the hood and thought could they be that stupid? Wait, of course, it's a honda dealership! Funny thing is I knocked them down about a grand with my wording skills. The previous 1 owner is an elderly woman that used to be stock car racer back in the day. Her daughter mainly used it for grocery shopping and whatnot. I met them after I bought it and really believe the car was babied. The dealer maintenance report was all ahead of schedule for what was on it.
Yes I know I am a lucky bastard on that one.

So far for mods I have spent I would say about $1000

Thats a sweet story, reminds me of the "Would you want to sell that old Chevy" quote when people were asking about a 60's vintage corvette to some guy who has it in the weeds behind his house. Great story, good job on the talk down too!

    99 Z28 VERT A4 DD

I paid 10,500 for my 99' Z vert back in 2oo4 with 70K on the clock. I got a good deal on it b'cause the car was/is a little rough in a couple of places. Gets driven hard EVERY DAY!!! I'm a single male living in an apartment so it doesn't even get to see a garage.

2000 Z28 fully loaded except CD changer with 49k miles on it. Bought it back in '04 for $12,500. Now it's paid off with about 6k in mods and it's only driven once a week during the spring, summer, and fall.

I almost bought a new one in 02 but decided to buy a house instead. I ended up paying $7K + my 96 Z28 vert in April 05 for the NBM 02 Z28 I now have. Car was bone stock and had 29,xxx miles on it at the time.

I paid a little much for mine @ 9.5k with 98k on it, but I looked for a very long time and had to drive to Arkansas to get it. After I read on here what people paid for theirs, I couldn't believe it. I don't mind though, I got my car and an exhaust that would of cost me over a thousand dollars and it was already installed...

Drives like new too, so what do i care
