what is this and where does it go exactly
sorry not sure where to post this but i started to replace my drivers side window motor. after removing door panel ect and the plastic "weather guard" i noticed this laying in the bottom of the door just curious as to what it is and where it goes a pic would be greatly appreciated. when i did the passenger side i never even noticed this. the rubber item sitting on the door is the item im referring to in the post

Somehow it still had the original motor at 177k mi

Never had my doors apart. Probably only a matter of time though. How about a pic of the window motor and track while you have it opened up?

im sorry guys already did it and put that rubber part back in maybe tomorrow ill tear it back apart cause i have tomorrow off what all would you like pictures of??? the drilling spots or what i put the motors back in with screws and nuts instead of riveting i just assume they will crap out eventually and ill prob never get rid of it anyways

Idk everything works fine so ill let it in my toolbox lol and if you youtube camaro window motor there is an awesome guide from the channel lsxtv or something along those lines
