what is my 99 ss worth

I want to know what will be a good price for my 99 SS. The car runs and could be daily driver but I am listing it as a project because it needs some work.

The car is a black 99 SS and it has 37xxx miles, tan leather interior, M6. About 6 months ago I had a freak accident where a big rig picked up a piece of pipe and it came through my windshield and my dash almost hitting my leg (Final Destination type of moment). I replaced the windshield but the dash still damage. I was going to change the interior from tan to black and fix the vehicle before selling it, but I think that if someone is looking for a drag car they might no need any/all of this stuff.

    Cons:
The dash is cracked and will need to be replaced
    The AC does not work
The front seats are worn out, the driver seat probably will need to be replaced
    Carpet is dirty
    Sun visors are charcoal grey
The hood has a deep scratch (from the accident)
    ZR1 wheels (17x 9.5) have curb rash
Check engine light is on (O2 Censor)

    Pros:
    New water pump
    New Thermostat
    New PS Pump
    New PS Rack and Pinion
    New Rear differential cover
5.0 shifter with short throw shifter
    Derlin shift knob
    Black and Red shift boot
    Pacesetter headers with 3’’ cats
    2.5” exhaust
    Skip Shift eliminator
    Cold air intake
    Carbon fiber intake lid
    Granatelli MAF sensor

Any help in coming up with a fair amount on what this vehicle will be worth will be greatly appreciated.

Best place to start would be some place like Kelly Blue Book. That'll give you an idea of what you can ask for and what to expect.

Thanks on the KBB advised. The car has the original engine, so both the car and engine have 37k miles. I mainly don't want to list the vehicle too high on price. KBB list my car at $9,485 for fair condition, I don't think many people will pay that (even if it I fixed everything) for a car with 37k miles. Thanks to everyone for the help and if anyone else has other advised I will appreciate it.

Surprisingly enough, if you fixed everything that needed to be repaired or replaced, you might get close to that. Don't low-ball yourself on the selling price.

Usually people go below kbb value for a respectable price, unless you have serious mods.

In the automotive world, mods actually hinder the value of the car. Because you need the right buyer who wants that exact car.

^^Right. Mods don't increase the value of the car, despite what some people think. However, there are people out there who would dish out extra money for a modded car.

This should be stickied in the Camaro section too. Here's some good info:

Nope. Not unless you find a buyer who is specifically wanting a car with mods and wants to pay more.

Well guys, thanks for the advise. I have some parts that I purchase but never installed that I might throw in to sweeten the deal. I think I will list it soon.

CORRECTION: The car has 137xxx, not 37xxx, I feel like an idiot now that I realize it. Sorry for the confusion guys.

You should expect around 4500.00 on a good day. This vehicle sounds like it was ridden hard and put away wet. With 137k you should take anything over 4k

I just paid 11k for a 2000 SS with 57k miles. Completely stock. It is show quality though. No issues. Hope that helps. F body prices are all over the place right now and they are niche cars. You have to find a buyer who wants a 10 -14 yr old car and wants to pay retail for it. Hard to do sometimes. I wish you luck on your sale.
