Definitely the LS1 camaro. However, in terms of the LT1 vs. LS1 Trans am I like the LT1 T/A.

i would def go with the lt1 camaro. i know performance is slightly less. (stone age technology under the hood) but the front looks to me like it has attitude. and the car itself knows its bad ass..

no offense to ls1 owners but your front end reminds me a lot of a chrylser sebring..

hands down the ls1 trans am!

but thats my opinion and were all entitled to one haha

ls-1 ss, don't get me wrong the lt-1 ss has character, I like them alot more with the light lenses over them black/black.

The small headlights on the LT1 give it a more sinister squint look IMO. Like or or lot more serious than the plastic lenses which fade. Don't worry about my GTO's lenses. That car is covered during the day and only driven about 5k a year.

Chrysler Sebring? I thought it looks like a open bass fish mouth...

I have 2 LS1 cars but I like they way the LT1 car looks better. If I'd have kept the 96 Z28 vert I'd have dropped an LS1 in it by now though....

I like the LT1 cars better, both camaro and T/A's.

Just like the cleaner looking front ends on both cars. I can't stand composite headlights on the LS1 camaro's, and don't like the front grille opening that serves no purpose. The LS T/A front ends look too damn busy to me. The one I do like is the formula though,,,not too busy,,,just clean and simple.

My wife would still be driving her 97 Z convertable if someone had not totalled it for her. Only reason I replaced it with an LS1 is because I had the tuning software already for my 02 SS,,,and it simplified things,,,,not to mention by that time it was already getting too difficult to find a decent LT1 car that hasn't been hacked on.

I have to be carefull,,,if you get me going on the subject of things I don't like about LS1 camaro's,,,I'll talk myself right out of both of them and put em' up forsale

personally, i like the ls1 TA better but the ls1 and lt1 camaros are a toss up for me, ive always loved the lt1 camaro SS's but if u were getting a regular camaro, the z28 LT1 just doesnt do it for me. Either LT1 SS or anything ls1

    LS1 all the way.

    IMO
SS camaros are much nicer 98+
I think they look alot cleaner than LT1s, and i like the spoiler pillars
some LT1 Z28s look really good, but im more partial to the LS1 front end. LT1s look old to me.

The front of the LT1 SS looks better, but I think the LS1 SS spoiler looks better as well as the stock wheels.

Although I love the look of the LT1 front end, the distace from top to bottom looks too small. Had the designers made it a bit taler, it would have looked a lot better. As for the LS1 front end, the overall size is well proportioned and I like the look of it also. I think that GM could have done a better job with the headlights though. Although there are aftermarket lights, I do not like the shape. The grill area is great with may options to add whatever kind of grill you desire. I like the open look with the mounting holes filled in. In the end, there are both likes and dislikes of both designs.

96-97 SS Camaro's are my favorite. I would swap front ends if I could afford it.
