Thanks for the links! I really like the look of the Texas one, I might have tosend him an email.

I actually already tried to look at the one in Staten Island, it didn't work out. I was actually in SI 2 weekends ago, so I figured I'd look at it. I was in contact with him all week, and on the day I was supposed to see it, I call before heading over and he tells me he had an offer of 12k on it, and won't accept any less. Said the 10.5k price listed was actually a mistake.

    Yeah right.

I saw it listed on cars.com for the same price. Either he wanted me to make a higher offer, or he didn't really want to sell it, maybe mommy and daddy are making him.

The red T/A is really nice, but I'm trying to stay under 13k.

Dang, I wanted you to get the Red T/A. I'm really liking the one from Michigan too...but I'm partial to the ground effects as you can see. Plus only 50k on it.

I can buy a car and get my own warranty if I want. Several insurance companys and private companys offer extended warrantys. If you buy from a dealer you are paying several thousand more for a car than you would buying the same car from an individual.
Financing has alot to do with this. You dont have to believe me though. You will figure it out one day.
well looks like after buying 11 cars personally i think i know a bit. and probly the 5 cars gotten from dealerships i never financed threw the dealer. its the same process of buying a private sale. go to bank not dealer and get a loq intrest loan. but hey one day ill find out

Hey, if you wanna donate 4 or five grand, I'm all over that red one!!

I'm not big on the GFX, both the WI and MI cars have them. Decent mileage/prices though.

EVERYBODY gets F'd at the dealer. No matter how good a deal you think you got, in some way they F'd you, otherwise they would not have made the deal.

I got my Jeep from a dealer, and I'm just about positive I got F'd on the deal.

And not a Z, but this one doesn't look too bad. A little far though.

yea-you know you got ass banged from the dealer. Funny thing is-you must like it considering your earlier post stating you bought 5 cars from dealers. LOL
Dealers love people like you. Mike knows whats up.

    A few more:

    http://newyork.craigslist.org/fct/car/384816339.html

What would good offers be on those?

I'm thinking 9-9.5 on the blue and pewter one, and depends on the mileage on the black one.

The last car is actually listed here on ls1.com.
The first car I would offer 9 grand for. Looks decent.
The second car doesnt list the milage so?????

Yeah, I've seen the ad for the pewter one here, she actually emailed me some pics. It looks very clean for the year. I just really want a newer one, preferably with leather. Thinking about it though, I love the color.

I emailed the guy with the black one for the mileage, hopefully I hear back soon.

I agree the Pewter one is so clean I really like that car. I am looking for a ws6 myself.
I found a 2000 with 19,000 miles that looks new for 15 grand but I am kinda scared of it cause the price seems way too low. The guy claims the car is mint-no issues. I dunno. I would think he could get 17.5-18 for it easy.

I'm keeping my open for a WS6 too. Even though I'm looking at Z's, I'm actually partial to the Pontiacs, Formulas in particular.

I saw that 15k WS6, it's gorgeous. Maybe the ad is telling the truth, the guy just wants it gone. If it's as nice as the ad says, it won't last long at that price.

Maybe you could find a member in the area to go take a look at it for you.

Whatever car you decide on make sure to do a suprise visit to the car lot. If the car has slap piston they will start it up and let it warm up before you get there so you wont here the slapping. If you suprise them most likely the car is cold and you will here the slap piston when you first start it up. When you get to the dealership feel the hood or motor to see if it has been running prior to you getting there. I made this mistake and the next day when i started it from cold i heard the noise, car lot would not take vehicle back. My 2 cents worth.
