    Sadly now demodded :(

Might I suggest (from personal experience) that you do weld in SFC's 1st? These cars will twist pretty badly over time if you race it at all.

If your going for performance, from my experience the best bang for your buck would be a lid/filter/Fast toys ram air. Plus it really isn't that expensive. If you going for apperance, I would go with lowering the car or headlights with halos (look sweet in my opinion). Good luck and happy early birthday.

Fast toys ram air sucks air from under the car. If you look around with sponsers you will find it. Are hoods don't do that good of a job since the air heats up from the engine before it makes it in the motor. A great bang for the buck. Halos are fucking sweet, I want them also. Cant be exact but with a lid/filter/fast toys ram air or also FTRA you should pick up around 15 hp I would estimate. That is a rough prediction. Hope that helps man.

Around 15 hp. Tough to say for sure without a dyno. They are a great start to modding. I did them first and was extremely happy.

I heard a diff and felt one with my set up. The lid helps extremely and is a do it yourselfer mod to. I don't think you would be disapointed.

No, but I've never thought of it, although welded in (vs bolted on) seems like it would be a stronger component. The welded in ones I have (a local guy makes them) tuck up so good you can't see them unless you're under the car. They're permanent but I don't intend to sell the car.

The difference is enough for you to feel, especially on throttle response. And my vote for appearance definitly goes to the stripes, imo halos look ricey. That being said I loved the way they looked when I had them but now I would never go back to them and think the whistler mod is a thousand times better.

I asked what the whistler mod, and someone posted a picture of some projection headlights....

get some angel ayes projections... I put some black ones on mine and it made a wonderful difference.

or go with the stripe kit.

    stick to appearance for now.

if you're still making payments on the car, don't mod it performance wise.

    that's just bad karma, lol
