What do I do next?
iAbout a month ago I purchased my first Camaro. It is a 98 Z28 w/ SLP lid, SLP mass air flow sensor, K&N air filter, and the SLP intake elbow. Other than these few beginner mods, the car is completely stock. I have about a $500 budget left for more performance modifications, and i want the most bang for the buck. So what I'm asking is "What do I do next?" and how do Z28 drivers feel about Hypertech power programers (III)? Thanks

If you can do the work yourself I would buy LT headers, or nitrous.

DONT WASTE MONEY ON A BIGGER TROTTLE BODY, AND YOU DONT NEED A DIFF. MAF EITHER JUST A GOOD AIRLID WITH K&N, I HAVE A CORBON FIBER LOOK LID FROM WHISPER, THEY LOOK BAD ASS TOO, USE NGK PLUGS, YOU DONT NEED A SMOOTH BELLOWS EITHER. USE MSD PLUG WIRES 8.5MM, GOOD HEADERS, KOOKS ARE BAD ASS, FREE FLOW CATS,3INCH Y PIPE, AND I RECOMEND GMMG CHAMBERED EXHAUST OUT BACK, NO HURST SHIFTER, GO WITH PRO 5.0, CUT IT TO SHORTEN THESHIFTER ROD WELD BACK, ALOT BETTER FEEL. ls6 HEADS, DONT NEED PORTED EITHER, COMP CAM AND A TUNE, THATS MY OPINON ABBY

Honestly...caps lock makes posts hard to read.
Sell the MAF. Then you will be up to $600. Pacesetters if you want power. Stall if you want to be quicker.

85mm high flow...SLP says that it flows 895cfm with the screen and with out it flows 1000cfm and when i got the car it was all ready without the screen and on a hard take off i get some detenation unless i get the RPMS up first but as soon as the RPMS get up around 2000 she shits and gets..so i would love to keep it because i hear it flowing some air but i want to get rid of the detenation ya know..but ya i got the stock one it was in the back with all the paper work..
