i don't know either, so i'm signing in. the cars are a bit nose heavy, so my guess would be in the 45/55% range.

I know the front springs are rated in the 300's and the rears at 150 for most springs. I'm going to say sitting as is it nears 60/40. Very nose heavy cars... they are much like a truck.. ( a low slung super sexy truck)

    weight distribution question

probably not quite as a truck, but yeah, typical front engine car. and it's a big, heavy motor, even with the aluminium block. but if they put the engine further back, you could weld the radio directly on the block, so it's already pretty far back.
my solution: carry as much junk in the trunk as possible, puts more weight on the rear end.

found something for the lt1 camaros: Z28 is 58/42%. so with the ls1 you'll be looking at 57/43 due to the lighter engine.

Relocate battery to the rear. it can help a little.... 40 pounds is 40 pounds! ..... put a fat girl in the back seat... ...nope not worth it!

I've thought a few times about the ability to put a corvette rear & Trans in our cars. but would be a lot of frikin work. bottom line is i love the way the T/A looks!
