They do not sell one for the f-body's directly. It will have to be a custom set-up. I have researched this before.

I have only found turbos and superchargers such as vortech or procharger, etc. A magnacharger will work just like the one for a vette BUT you will have to have a cowl hood and cut back right there in front of your windshield.

yea to run any find of top mount blower you have to notch the wiper cowl and get a tall hood. go procharger, less headache and still mind blowing power. no way id ever hack my car up

look at magnuson, they are a roots style, and look very low for a supercharger.

If you have to cut a little, go for it, it would be sick, and you would have a huge power band

there's no point of getting just a twin screw, make sure its a roots style.

Everett this particular subject has been brought many times on ls1tech and other various car related sites. A maggie charger would be an awesome way to go and the power band is awesome. It will be a headache but the out come would be bitchin!!!

It's not the same, my friend has a wipple on his tahoe, and its not a roots style, it's located off to the side of the engine, a roots is located atop of the engine ex. magnuson and magna charger.

and yes, a roots style is a twin screw, but the location is diff.

a roots style promotes a broader power band, if you were to just get a twin screw, it would be better to just get a centrifugal.

go to ls1tech forced induction section and do a search for maggie and look for a guy named Ed as the thread starter. This guy is selling a maggie kit (same as the vett) to fit our cars with an intercooler.

The camaro KB I saw was just cut around the top of the engine to make room. But he had to move the wiper, could be a pain but possible. Just go turbo!

+1 , I haven't seen any either , although I have seen custom setups , It really is a damn shame that you cant get a good ol' kenne bell for f-bodys , I'd like to see the look on the Ford guys then. I would just run some giggle-gas on her.
