    Trunk noise

Lately it seems my trunk has been making some squeaking/creaking noises (when going over speedbumps or any non-flat terrain) and I'm not sure where exactly in the trunk it's coming from. I do recall that it hasn't always done this, however, so I know it's not just a typical thing. I'm guessing it's obviously somewhere within the trunk lid or the latch. Has anyone else had this problem and if so, how did you resolve it?

Most likely the hatch struts are wore out.

    I have the same issue

Oh man, that's probably it! I feel like an idiot now, but it SO sounded like it was the struts! Thanks DK, I'll check it out tomorrow.

after folding the rear seat up and down, taking the cargo cover out, tapping and banging on everythung in sight ,i took the spare and jack out even though it was all tight and i couldnt make it squeak or rattle, went for a ride and it was gone. no promises on yours though.
