    Trick Flow 515 Package Results

    2000 M6 SS
Trick Flow Cam and Head Package (515 hp)
FAST 92MM Intake / 92 MM Throttle Body / Granatelli MAF
    Volant Cold Air Intake
Edlebrock Shorty Headers/ No Cats / X-Pipe / Bullet Mufflers
    Custom Tune

My installer sent me an email today stating the car is done and can be picked up next week. All he wrote was 430 RWHP. Don't know about the TQ yet. I am sort of disapointed. I guess it is correct though. I was told if I divided RWHP by .8, it would give me HP at the flywheel. That would meen I would have a 537 HP motor? Let me know what you guys think.

Not bad numbers. Get rid of the shorties and you might gain another 20hp.

Those are definitely GOOD mumbers!!!!, but i too would be a little dissapointed. I was thinking with all the stuff you listed it would've been closer to 500 RWHP, how good of a tuner is the guy thats tuning it?

I talked to Trick Flow awhile back and they stated that the 515 hp package required LTH's.

Sweet numbers but LT should help, plus do all the little shit like UDP and such to squeeze out all the power. I want that package.

I think the cam on that package is not very big. So I say good numbers your set up with Long Tube Headers and a Vindicator Cam or MS4 will be over 470rwhp.

The tuner is one of the best in S. Florida. He charges a lot but he also does it right. He is a Corvette specialist. I was also thinking I would be closer to 475 RWHP. If I would have known, I would have had LT's put on durring the install. I didnt think that my open exhaust with my headers would have made that big of a difference. I am still trying to figure it out if it was worth it. I spent around $6500 total for this package / install. I probably could have got more RWHP with a Vortec of Pro Charger for about the same price.

Yes, LTH's will be worth the gain but how much will your tuner charge for additional tuning?

Well, its to late now. I will have to wait till next year before that happens. I already spent too much this year! Nevertheless, I had a custom 3" exhaust built out of stainless that is attached to those headers. Its all back together and ready to go. I will post the full dyno sheet as soon as I pick it up this week.

I don't think that is accurate...your almost losing 100 through drivetrain. Doesn't sound right.

Shorties into 3" exhaust? Who gave you that idea?

Well, at least you got a good exhaust for the LT's next year.

Damn you spend a bundle on that package. I would have gone another route to get those kind of gains.

You should be around 420.36 fwhp if you are a M6 or 427.8 fwhp if you have an A4. Generally it is 12% loss for an M6 and around 15% for and A4 unless you have a 9" or 12 bolt rear where you loose a bit more.
