    Well that answers that...

It is the factory 6 speed manual trans for any LS1 vehicle.

    2008 Z06 - Velocity Yellow - OEM

    2017 Silverado Z71 5.3 - OEM

    2002 Z06 - Electron Blue Metallic - D1 - E85 - 701 rwhp 687 rwtq **sold**

    2002 Z28: M6 NBM - cam and boltons - 396rwhp 357 rwtq **sold**

Thanks for the reply Is there any upgrades already or not, the reason I am asking is that i am getting ready to rebuild it and just curious.

There are plenty of upgrades for it.
It all depends on what you need out of it.

3-4 shift fork is one piece that should be upgraded while it is out.
To be honest, not too familiar with the working order of the T56.

    Sadly now demodded :(

You substitute certain pieces (input shaft and shifter forks among others) with those used in a Viper trans. Makes it much stronger than stock as they are the same tranny with different guts.

actually its borg warner t56 thats in our car, soon after 2002 the t56 was sold as a desighn and name to tremec, other than that go to sixspeedsinc.com they will get you on the right path.
