The right gear? Just leave it in drive! You can't shift it any better than the computer can.

actually he did help you. he corrected your 1340 to the right 1320 ft which is a true 1/4 mi...

we need more info, what size cam, any other mods, current rear gear, etc...

    most people run a 3.73 in an A4 that's cammed/stalled...

Your rev limiter is set to 7000? Do you have ARP rod bolts or are you still on stock rod bolts?

everything is stock!!! i havent had it that high and wont be going that high but it should be good for about 6800rpm, the plan is to shift near 6600 and come across the 1320 at around 6700 . does that sound like a plan?

The stock rod bolts on the LS1 are very weak. If you are revving it that high, there is a chance you are going to break sooner than later.

hey thanks man for the info i did some runs earlier and it looks like i will go with a 3.73 and a 26 inch tire. i think that will be spot on if not i will just step up to 3.90 or 4.10 .

I like juicing the launch !!! 3.73's will treat you good. I'm considering 3.90's for in my moser rear. I have it shifting into OD right after the traps. A little to close.
    Good Luck !
