transmission possibly swapped
i was wondering if there was a way that i could find out if my transmission has been swapped at all through a serial number or something. i have a warranty on the motor and trans but i think my trans was swapped after i put my car back to stock. it doesnt feel like the same tranny. any info would be great thanx guys

No I have a guy who installs all my parts I just want to be 100 percent sure he swapped it before I accuse him of anything

vin number should be stamped somewhere on the housing not sure where though.

Sounds Dicey. May be easier to visually inspect connectors and nuts.

There should be a "VIN derivative" on the transmissions driver side, right above the pan. The last 6 numbers should match the last 6 numbers of the car's VIN.
