    Track times?

    I have a (400 hp) 05 Zo6 motor in my 99 SS and port and polished throttle body, hyper t 3 programmer and mass air flow senser and a yank 3300 stall and slp exhast,what do u think my 1/8 mile track time should be and 1/4 mile time? thanks

    Depending on the specs of the motor (same heads, cam, intake, etc. as the Z06 motor), with your mods you should be tossing down around 360 - 380 at the wheels (maybe a little less since its an automatic). Long tubes, an off road y, a lid and filter, a quality catback exhaust and a tune should get that to around 400HP (ballpark figure) and that should be good for low 12's with decent tires. You have the stall and the gear to pull very good numbers at the track.

    With 340 rwhp, 3400 stall my normal times are 12.6's on a 1.52 60 foot...1/8 mile is 7.9. My car is heavy
    So, I say you should pull 12.4-5's, 7.9-8.0 1/8th on at least drag radials.

    I have the Slp exhast and the slp induction system and hypertech 3 , and it is the Zo6 heads, cam and all, but thanks for everybody's input..

    Damn, im from grifton which is nere Greenville, i know a few guys from rocky mount, he drives a Blue 02 z28 with torque thrust 2 wheels, texas rumbler true duals, his name is Jeff, u know him?
