Just trying to keep up with you James. Anyway I could talk you into doing one of those sweet photoshops for me? That vader sig looks bad ass!! I'll let you know about the wheels, the rivets do kinda bug me but once I switched the lug nuts to black they seemed to flow much better.
yeah i almost got those wheels but the rivets are kind of strange...lol
as soon as i get my SS hood on i'm having the 35th stripe kit done in red.

let me know what you want the sig to be...I'll hook you up

    hey jason, help me out.
I was thinking of taking out the plastic insert...
what's the best way to do it without tearing up the insert?
I pulled the sidesout, but I'm afraid of messing up my paint, taking off the middle.
also how bad does the styrofoam bumper show up?

That terrain looks oh-so familiar. I was in Arizona for summer of 06 and did some land surveying in the Mesa area for a few days. Very nice photos.

I love those 35th stripes, Jay Overhulser at 3rdgendecals can hook that up. He threw in the Camaro front and rear bumbers for free. You plan on doing it yourself? Let me tell you it was a Pain In the ASS!! He did warn me that the Manta stripe was the hardest. As far as the sig can you do something with a Dale Sr. theme?

Thanks, that's one of our man made lakes out here in the desert. It's about a 20 min cruise from where I'm living. Jim we should get those guys on the east side together for that drive once it warms up some. Beers and steaks at the lake sounds fun

if there's any damage to the paint, it's already done, happens from that plastic rubbing against the bumber. once the sides are pulled out you have 4 rivet/screws to deal with. anything short of removing the full bumber leaves a chance at stripping the plastic a little. All that foam makes it tough to get behind the bumper. I already had holes in the plastic because the previous owner had a plate in the front so I didn't care too much about saving it. All I did to remove it was slowly, but forcefully tug at the plastic where it enters the bumper. The first ones the hardest and I used a large flat head screwdriver to gain some leverage and help pull it out. It strips the plastic screw and the nut falls out onto the bumber. I was actually able to rethread the piece with the nut because I pulled it straight out so it's reusable if I ever want to put it back on or sell it. Just take your time and you should be able to get it out without damaging your paint or the plastic. Foam doesn't look too bad, if you didn't notice it in any of the pics

Thanks, it was a very big surprise. I just bought a house and I'm already going to have to expand...
Truthfully, she's got to be the coolest wife in the world. She told me to get it as soon as we can afford it. So I only have to wait, like, 4 or 5 years. Isn't that awesome? As soon as I can get it without having to trade the 4th gen, I will have one.

You would get along well with my uncle. He is one of the biggest Dale Sr. fans I've ever seen. I think he has every single #3 collector's item there is, aside from an actual NASCAR lol.

I got lucky, the guy I bought it from lived in CO so she was a Garage Queen only had 18K miles on it when I got it. And that was a year ago next month. I haven't done any real detailing work and I really want to do that before the summer hits. I've done the Meguirs 3 step (cleaner wax, polish, wax) a few times and I hit it with Quick detailer before too much dust settles.

They are 452's, so far I'm loving them. I want to take them to the track and see how they stick. Pretty good for street tires, I've already seen the vast improvement over what he had on there, just from launching hard at lights.

Glad you said that, I was thinking the same thing. In normal daylight they seem to match but the red is distinct in those pics. I'll be painting the bowtie to match too.
