A ricer came up next to me at a light and reved his engine. I opened the cutout and reved mine. The look on his face was priceless. Needless to say he didn't move on the green til I did and stayed a car length back.

    You can't even compare the GMMG to a SLP catback. If you have the cash go with the GMMG. I did and love it.

    I'd vote for keeping the car quiet. Walk softly and carry a big stick.

    my understanding is both SLP LM setups run street price under $400...

    as far as loudness..

    LM1 = louder
    LM2 = slightly more subtle?

    i read the LM1 is just too loud with headers.. but i dont really plan on getting them

    It has a big wing!

    If your looking for the cheapest,you have to go the cutout route.You can go to a local muffler shop and as long as its a decent shop,they should be able to set you up for about $50 or less.

    It won't be electric but, you have the option of capping it back up if you don't like it.I would try that over getting an expensive catback and the realizing you don't like it.

    First time I got one,I was actually surprised that it sounded much better than I thought it would.Very aggressive sounding and snarly if you would.The bad is that it's a little on the "sloppy" side as well,unrefined and at low rpm sounds a little ol' truck like.WOT sounds very cooooooooooooooool though....

    Now if I had the money,I would go Borla!! Love that sound.Some say it's an over priced cutout but to me it has a very different sound than just a cutout...I like it.

    good luck on your choices!
