    here are the actual facts.

If you drive a GM, your at least an ok guy.

If you drive a ford, you have a vagina.

    I'm sure secondgearscratch will concur.

ultraz do your research before you say something cant be done... it has been done.. i know people personally that have done it.. you can look at sites that have done it.. so dont try to say something cant be done.. now granted if you hook... umm there goes half your car... but you will be putting down just over 500 at 8lbs..

Sitting in the drivers seat of a Mustang is the stupidist feeling. They have shitty seat, you sit completley upright and it feels like the car will topple over and the windshiels make your eyes hurt.

Sitting in an F-Body is like flying in a jet! What all do I need to say

You don't have to put a title on every single post.

If you run 8 psi, your fuel mixture will be too thin.

the difference between the two is only explicable by saying you sit in one and on the other....

personally i didnt mind the ergonomics of the gts. ive driven a few and it wasnt that bad-for me.

an ss though is more classy looking in my opinion but a cobra looks so damn agressive. i like them both.

but the ss has my heart.

Well i feel it's a waste of potential. IMO you should start with internals and Bigger injectors, better fuel system that way you can feed the s/c and get out of it what it's made for. By throwing one on first you will gain a good bit, but then have to tear it all down again to mod it more. Like i said IMO. Bone stock w/a charger just doesn't make sense to me. So now that we have debated over a 2lbs. dif in boost what have we accomplished? Nothing, I started that whole thing as a joke. I can run 30 lbs on my stock
ls1 but if i never put the pedal down it wont break. whoopdy do.

As far as sitting in the cars goes, it's all part of the car, i have sat in a mustang and they aren't as comfortable, this is only one of the many reasons that i will stick with GM. Terms do have a nasty stance I must admit. But their design is ugly. Plus i have grown up as die hard chevy so what can i say.

    money

well sometimes people dont have the money to forge the engine or build it to get max perf. i didnt say i would do it.. said it has been done.. id rather forge and then go with a huge shot... its a fraction of the money... but... it dont matter either way.... at least we agree ford sucks ass...

im not sure what kind of argument youre trying to make but from 7 ps1 the most ive seen is about ~470 with a procharger. if this is somehow an attempt to show that you could beat a terminator with the money saved and just by a s/c kit even with stock internals i suppose you make a point-atleast until you realize that with a ported blower, pulley, tune and catback a cobra can put down 500 whp. and seeing how you are already working with forged pieces, a simple blower swap to a kb or whipple would put you well into the 600s and 700s, just depends on what blower you decide to go with.

a kb 2.2 at 19 psi with an intake would probably make ~630 whp.

i have to agree with ultra z on the point about it being a waste to run a supercharger on the stock bottom end.

sure it makes ok power, but the risks far outweigh the benefit in my opinion. why not shell out the cash to forge and run alot of boost, or atleast enough to make more than a pullied cobra with a catback. and honestly, with the overall amount of money youre going to spend on this shenanigan, you probably could have saved a bit of money getting the cobra.

    take that how you will.....
