Thinking about buying a '01 black Z28

The price on this Z28 is 9950.00 with 85k miles on the odometer. Sorry no pics, but the car is very well taken care of , atleast cosmetically. The engine sounded fine (no weird noises) but couldn't take it on a test drive due to the steering system needing maintenance and wouldn't be safe to drive. Called him back on that and they stated it's fixed now . The car doesn't seem to have been wrecked. If I negotiate this car down to a8700-9000 I will probably take it after test driving it. What do you all think about this car?

I think you should take it to a mechanic and have it looked over to see if it has been in a wreak and also to make sure that the steering problem, what ever that was to be checked as well.

If it checks out, all I can say is that it's a whole lot less then I paid for mine back in 08. But, check around to see what cars with that mileage and condition are going for.
