Temp Hire + Forklift + Z28 = Damage
douchbag...
The dumpster he was aiming for was well over 30' away, yet makes a sharp left turn into the rear of my car...
Goes in the shop tomorrow for repair... The only good thing about working for an insurance company, I handed them the $1850 quote and 8 days later the check was in my hands...
When one of my co-workers came to me to tell me, all I could think was I had two forks penetrating into sheetmetal or glass... When I saw this, I was... eh, so what... I just didn't want sheetmetal damage... I'm going to have them not palce the badges back on and see how the clean look works...
OH, and the shop padded the bill a bit to fix the curb rash I got last summer on the front...

You got a very good quote. Consider looking around and see if you can't get all that fixed for about half price.

Yup!!! That's another bonus... I swear the dealer did it with those rubber-banded dealer plates prior to me picking it up last April, but I COULD NOT prove it was their fault... I swear it wasn't there when I test-drove it 3 days earlier... But after i got it home, I found it... But, I had no proof other than questionable memory...

Black SS SLP#8834- 2002 35th Anniversary LS1
02SOMZ Are you testing a new BBQ grill or what in that pic? Looks like maybe heat treatment I have no clue. Sophisticated use of computers!
Did the forklift operator get fired or find desk duty after the mishap?Last edited by SS1Eagle; 04-29-2009 at 04:47 AM.
