A MS3 cam can be made to be a street friendly cam, if you have a good tuner.

thats a hell of a price gap from $550

I can throw in the stainless valves, PRC springs, and MS3 to this current set up for $1250 total price, and have the Z06 cam to sell and recoup some cost.

or just take this set up for $550 and call it a day, assuming its all there.

i text the guy asking if the heads have guts, he didnt get back to me yet
this was the original post, i guess the second was a typo...i dont even remember making that post.

but anyway, andy deleted my non sponsor link. they sponsor LS1tech, figured they were here too, but its a cam package, you choose from about a dozen cams, including MS3, MS4, and 228R, then your choice of pushrod length, in chromoly, and a PRC dual spring kit, for $700

Before you decide on a cam, you need to know what your goal for the car is and what driveability you want it to have.

I've usually seen the MS3/4 on more aggressive set-ups.

As I mentioned earlier, the TSP 224/228 is a known performer in the LS1.

You may also need more gear depending on what you go with.

Yeah I've got a lot of research to do, and I want to get the suspension worked up before this.

No HUGE goals for the car, I want it to be streetable, but mileage isn't really an issue, I just don't want to have to carress it into idling, or.get rattled to death at red lights.

If my bolt ons, 243s, cam, and a good tune cab land me close to 400hp ill be happy

Sorry Spikito... the link was to an MS4 cam (so I thought) ... hence the reason I wrote that in your post in lieu of the link. I figured it was better than deleting your post in general and confusing everyone! lol
