    1997 camaro

    taking off black trim above hatch

    needing some help trying to restore this camaro motor and paint. does any one now how to take off the black trim that runs on roof beteen t tops and hatch. goes from side to side. and my other qqq is can i run a eletric water pump on this car and do away with the gear driven one, had so may problems with it leaking oil.

    Sadly now demodded :(

    That trim piece is fiberglass (? plastic at least) and is glued in place. It comes off but not easily.

    IIRC, you can run an electric water pump with an LT1.
