In this case, the t-bar acted as a balance beam, the glass obviously broke but the pressure wasn't all on the same spot, it fell slightly into the pillars taking some of the pressure off the middle part of the roof.

    he's lucky he wasn't a tall guy!
I would have been dead for sure!!!

y dropped a BASKETBALL GOAL out of the back of his truck going down the highway on a bridge. hit my car, then I swerved, hit one cement retaining wall busted my driver window, seatbelt came undone. hit something else (not sure it's all kinda fuzzy) got thrown to the other side, hit the retaining wall opposite, drove on top of it ( I had no control, steering was busted because of the first impact. ripped my passenger door back hit my head on the windshield blacked out. they said I slid another 295 feet after impact.

i was fine but my birdy was dead!
then two days later my ass blacked out, and when I went to the hospital, imagine.... I had a concussion

I don't believe the guy is bull sh*tn' but come on. I understand that you can panic and turn the wrong way, brake too late or whatever but to simply step in the throttle instead of the brake is kind of an IDIOT driving behind the wheel. That's one of the several reasons that I went with a hardtop. T-Tops are nice though.

Yeah I agree with your incident. But this guy hit the gas and then got into an accident. Two different things.
