stupid snow
i drove up to north carolina this weekend to see my cousin with his 2010 ss and we were gonna race and just have the ss's together for cruising and stuff... but two hours after i get here the ground is now covered in snow... and our cars are stuck in the garage. i knew there was a reason i lived in florida.

They've been calling for it since Sunday, just never knew how much was going to accumulate. I live in the "Old Dominion" region (Spotsylvania), and we got somewhere around a foot or so. You guys should've known this snow was coming. Or atleast your cousin should've
Moorseville, eh? I've got family in Pinehurst (sp?) Uncle owns an outfit called Interrior Specialties or something like that. But I don't talk to them, because they're too "high class" for me

2002 Z28 A4 NBM- Sadly now demodded :(
*sung to "Fish Heads" from the Dr Demento radio show*
No snow, no snow, I'm so glad I've got no snow,
No snow, no snow, we raced last night YUM!
Temp last night at Firebird Raceway (Phoenix, Az) last night was high 40's - low 50's with a DA of 1250'. We had so many club members and supporting folks show up last night they discounted the price, gave us our own lane and roped off an area for us to pit.

Black- 2002 SS Camaro
I had fun in the snow last night... (not really) me and my cousin were driving his jeep down the road and the rear end started coming out and we drove sideways trying to correct it for about 100feet then we come do a hurtling stop when the rear tire hit the curb and completely ripped open and then the front one had the same problem... 6 hours later we finally got two spares and fixed it but what a night

Oh yeah... I can see that happening. I held out on going to the store Friday because I KNEW people were going to be raiding them. So Saturday morning me and the ole' lady go to Giant to get a few things, and I was just chugging along doing 35mph in the Yukon w/ AutoTrac on. I probably could've done 40 (and more for that matter) but I didn't feel like having my hands full. On the way back (maybe an hour later) I saw 2 cars in the ditch. Mind you, this is a main road (Courthouse Rd) with only 5 or 6 miles that is the difference between my house and the store. Pitiful really. People in a hurry to get somewhere when there's over a foot of snow on the ground, and untreated roads

We got 13-14 here. They said just a few miles of seperation would mean the difference of an inch or two. I guess they were right.

You guys just need to get more snow fun vehicles. I like it when it snows and me and the subaru can go snowdrift. I just hate snow when i have to drive home from work with traffic but otherwise its fine by me.
