    So you're telling me you're going to "custom make" LT headers, H/X pipe and some decent mufflers for $200?

    What are PI Gt's putting down stock... around 225rwhp being nice with a 15% loss for a 5 speed. So you're saying some 4.10s and exhaust is going to make up for 70 rwhp....given the same 15% loss for a 6-speed ls1(underrated...put out closer to 345 bhp)? You're going to have to throw cams in that gears/exhaust mod list to even have a prayer.

    Headers werent ever implied. Cut out the cats yourself, weld in a pipe. H-pipes are simple as hell to make. Weld in a set of flowmasters or dumps. And im saying that all from experience. My 5 speed GT had just 4.10s, stock manifolds and a custom exhaust and would run fender to fender with ls1 trans ams, driver mod being considered with both cars. You can call bullshit all you want, call up the dude that bought it and have him run you. You'll be surprised.

    Hmmm...fender to fender huh. Well here's a vid of a ls1 with just a lid and cut-out vs a gt with 4.30'2(lower then your 4.10's), intake, x-pipe, and flowmasters.     You can't remove the cats and dump it on a LS1?

    Stangs exhaust flows pretty decently from the factory...so any real gain would have to come from headers. You can ditch the cats and dump the exhaust all you want but the manifolds still restrict the exhaust. BTW chamber mufflers(flowmaster) blow as far as performance goes. I'm done benchracing..
