I've driven both for hours as in multiple state trips and the Mach was more comfortable. The seats and the dead pedal and all seemed better. We have a but load of everything out here!!
But there is way more SS probably a 65%-35% ratio. Also I'm a avid audio person so I have to have "sounds" in everything and the Mustang has a better design with the trunk versus the hatchback. I got done with hatches in the mid 90's myself.
Either way you'll come out alright.

A buddy of mine has an 04 Mach 1. Has full exhaust and filter. He ran a 12.90 on regular street tires. Not too shabby for a little 4.6. The mach 1 should not be underestimated. And in my oppinion, the mustang is much more fun to drive.

camaro by far, an 02 ss hell yes, is it an a4 or m6???
The mach one is not bad, i just think the ss is sexier. As the one guy said earlier, you can throw a 200 shot on the mach 1, well do that with the camaro, bam!
It just depends on your preference, if you are a chevy guy ss, if not then get the mach 1, but i've dusted a hand full in my time.

What do they have interior wise, verts, t-tops on the ss??? auto or manual???

I like it a lot so far. I don't really plan on putting any mods on it anytime soon, but one day I'd like a moderate sized cam an some headers, as well as suspension upgrades.

In my area most F-body's that I see are usually pewter or silver. Congrats on the new SS!

Congrats on your SS. I just saw this thread today, but I was gonna say you won't go wrong with either. Both are really nice cars.

    Nice choice man.

The only reason solution the dilemma would be to buy both cars though

yeah you say that now...ill give you like 2 weeks of driving it, and you will want to do somethin to it. No one is strong enough to resist the mod bug.

The guy that said the ford sounds better is right. A LOT better. Thats the ONLY beef I have with my chevy. I mean it doesn't sound as bad as the V10 viper or a ricer but it just can't match the sound of those fords. No matter if its a 5.0 or a mod motor, ford can't out run us but they sound good loosing.
