    I think your right. I'm still not sure if I like the fact that you can see the old one underneath anyway. Maybe black it won't show up as much....

    The red would look good if it wasn't the only red thing on the car. Since it is, I'd say go black. If you really want to go nuts I would say paint the new stainless piece black too. have a little hidden touch, kinda like a ghost flame, in a sense.

    I do have red brake calipers and red camaro letters on the back panel. I think black would make it stand out better though.
