SLP Loudmouth 1 Specs?
Hey i have an SLP Loudmouth 1 Cat Back Exhaust on my rather stock camaro. I am very curious as to what the HP increase generally is with the exhaust. It seems to be the only exhaust i can't find the this info on haha. And any other specs or stats about the exhaust are greatly appreciated too!

The best way to see how much power increase you'll get from upgraded exhaust (as with any mod) is to do a before and after dyno tune. But, I'd say somewhere around 10 extra hp to the wheels.

Specs include rasp and 8-10HP.
SLP claim 25 HP by chance?
No other exhaust offers this level of performance and adaptability!
If by 'no other' they mean 'all but flowmaster' then I agree.Last edited by Mr. Luos; 01-12-2010 at 08:08 AM.

I didn't see any 25hp from SLP about the exhaust. I really do hate their advertising, but i have to say i love the sound of their exhaust. I think thats all i'll ever buy from them haha.
I don't think K&N advertises 25hp increase for their filters, only because they have dynocharts for most applications for a given car, showing around a 15 hp increase average for their whole intake system.

Everything said so far about loudmouths is true. I have it on my T/A (stock) and i love it... On the other hand my neighbor has it on his ss camaro with cam and headers and it is just way to loud and raspy for me ... but some people like that defining sound hahaha. Also there is no great HP gain maybe around 10?

Hmmmm..... interesting as I'm about to pick up a LM1 and put it on my Z. I've got LTs w/ aftermarket "hi-flo mini cats", so it'll be interesting to see how loud it is. Couldn't imagine it would be hardly any louder than one with stock manifolds
