Too much of that and the car starts looking like the plumbing section at Lowes. Thought it would be worth a try though for little money spent. Just not for me.

Go with the bellow made for the car.

I've got the opposite problem. I have the plug but need the hose connector to attach to the air pump.

Shouldn't you have a smooth bellow connecting the lid to the MAF? Idk...thats how it is on my 98 SS...After that I have the accordian connecting the MAF to the TB. My bellow came with the SLP lid when I ordered it. Suck when you buy shit off ebay.

The lid attatches directly to the MAF. The smooth bellow goes in place of that accordian bellow.
Those accordian bellows create alot of turbulance in the airflow. What I do like about them is the fact that they are so flexable and removing the lid to service the filter is easy without having to disassemble all the hose clamps etc... It simply moves out of the way while still attatched.
Once a smooth bellow is installed you loose this luxury as they are pretty stiff. They are a little pricey too considering just a small chunk of rubber.

Smooth bellows are a waste of time and money they usually create lid fitment issues and aren't worth more then 1-2 HP.

Also check with the Smog Nazi's in California.
IIRC the cats have to be in the factory location which means LT's are a No No.

Same with me. Plus mine came with the SLP lid when I bought it with the SLP MAF package. The only weird thing about mine is that from the lid to the MAF I use the bellow, and for the MAF to the TB I use the accordian thing...is that weird or is it just me?

I will try to get some pics of it, but no mine doesn't. The lids hole is to small to fit on my MAF, so I had to use that SLP smooth bellow to connect lol.

Its not too small. You have to heat it up with a hair dryer..and it pops right in. IF you have a stock MAF... do you?>
