I like my slp lid because you don't have to use a breather on the 00+ ls1 air pump hose...if you didn't gut it that is. It comes with a hole on the side like the stocker, a grommet for the hole, couple elbows and some hose to hook up with the stock hose.

You could do all that yourself but for the same price it comes already done.

all the lids pretty much give you the same HP gains, it just comes down to look and price

the flo pack is good but the CAI (cold air induction) can kill your engine if you hit a deep puddle,

i've heard two or three stories about people hydrolocking their engines due to the CAI.

I purchased the slp lid for 98z and was very happy with the performance gains as well as the overall fit and finish...thumbs up!

    Right here son.

Only it wasnt SLP, it was FTRA.

I have the clear MTI lid. It looks pretty nice, but its getting dirty and such, but fuck it, they all flow the same just about. Not to mention, whenever I used to switch out my lid with the stocker when Id have warranty work done, I never noticed any power difference.
