    okay so i was think bout puttin the loudmouth exhaust on my 02, i have the slp exhaust they put on it from the factory, is that the loudmouth, and if not what else would i need to get besides the loudmouth resonator?? thanks guys

    No. The loudmouth exhaust is basically a bullet muffler located before the rear axle, unlike the one you have on now which has the muffler right after the axle. The SLP LM catback system should be all you need. It is loud and raspy, so if you're planning on doing headers, at least stick with the LM 2 instead of the 1.

    Avoid SLP's parts.

    They did good with the LT1 WS6, the SS, and the Firehawk. But their parts section is different. Old parts...average at best...overpriced....shitty customer support.

    I don't know about the LM2, but the LM1 does not have a bullet muffler. It's a resonator.

    lol my mistake to refer to those turds as mufflers. Either way, they really do nothing to quiet the sound. I wish I would have asked these questions back when I first got my car and bought me the LMII. Would have gone a different route.

    They're not meant to quiet the sound, ie. resonator.
