You should have "ghetto" as an option in the poll =)

If I were to get serious I would make it like the Speed GT and ALMS race cars, out the rocker molding that is stock on my car, but I would have to cut a whole through the fram rail to do this, which I'm not sure if need to do all that. http://picasaweb.google.com/Allmotor...32052780269586
As far as the side-moldings, you could buy side skirts, like off a body kit and install them. Then measure out where the tips would be and cut out provisions for them in the side skirts. If you don't want to feel 'ricey' or anything, you could always go with the RS side skirts. Subtle and made for the camaro.

I know it is fun and very rewarding to fab something yourself. I thought about putting side pipes on my SS but after talking to the local exhaust pro I would have had less than 2 inches of clearance between the tips and the ground. That was 2 years ago, now I'm wanting to do it again. I saw on Streetfire.net a Camaro that had the Nascar Boomtube on it for a side pipe, so I did a Yahoo search and found a web-site for them and decided that is the way to go if I do it. It's not cheap but then again nothing is for LS1s.

Try this one - http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...214&pr=goog-sl - After you view this video, on the right hand side of the video player there are buttons with other options, click the link "From user" this will display the remainder of my videos, and there are a few of my SS.
