Side molding
Anyone take their side molding on their camaro off like the firebird/trans am guys do?

sure did, no molding on my 95 or my 02, alot of people have, it looks way better

Took the molding off as soon as I drove the car home from the dealer in 2002.

my 98 SS came from the facotry w/out it....never realized that they came with it on until I saw a thread on this board last year regarding the removal.
Looks much better w/ it off imo

get rid of that molding! It makes a huge difference, looks alot sportier without that huge door ding trim.

Yep. Do one of the little pieces to make sure it will turn out the way you want it. Unfornately mine was painted over and i had to buff the everliving piss outta it.

some fucker messed mine up bad this week. they threw their door open next to me while I was getting out of the car. I walked over to that side and they jumped in their car and pulled out and sped off. that pissed me off. I have a 3 inch gash in mine now. I am pulling it off just because of that.
