    hey guys and gals. does anyone out there know if those show n go license plates are legal in illinois. im thinking about getting one but wont if it'll cause problems. http://www.altecproducts.com/

    I don't think that they are legal in any state that you have to have a front plate.

    I may be wrong, but I'm thinking that these are marketed for cars that are shown at shows but also driven on our highways where a front plate is required.

    Dont realy see why they would'nt be legal. As long as you remember to pop it up again after the show..

    you know if you really want something trick make up your own plate mounting bracket that hinges to the under side the front .. loosely from the top and when your just doing 80 on the high way that it just sucks up and flips back from the wind against it

    I haven't had my front plate on my car for a year. Haven't had any problems yet and I live in CA. The car nazi capital of America.

    welp i was going with the no plate idea and bam. lol got a 50 dollar ticket. looks liek its gonna be the show n go. or maybe the slp. anyone have a preference?

    here in jersey we have to have them but i was in an accident at the end of may (new painted bumper is now on) and the license plate and bracket were ripped out of grill (just pulled the rivets so 3 tiny holes for now),but i havent had the $ to get an new grille yet and i want the slp bowtie one, so for the last 3 months no cops have givin me trouble with no front plate

    ditto to that.... i hated how my car looked with the front plate.. i dont really travel out of my town much with my car so my town's cops havent said anything to me yet... kinda surprised actually

    i wanted a billet grill but dont have the money currently

    i need to change my pic
