I actually have the LM2, not the LM1. I am not running cats. Mine sounds mean as fawk. I've heard that with LTs and the LM1 that it can sound raspy.
Your talking about where the tip come to on the bumper on each side. It looks centered. But I haven't measured that yet. I now both side measure the same top of tip to bottom of bumper and how far the slp is on the bumper is the same also..

I now my dad heard me get on my about 8 tenths to a mile away. He said it sounded like a car running straight pipe/straight headers. My grandpa help me put it on at his garage an he said iam gonna get a ticket for being so loud..LOL

I am talking about each tip being evenly spaced from left to right (on center with the license plate). That is more important in my opinion than fretting about an inch or two hanging out too far past the bumper or too far in.

By looking at it that way it looks dead on. I used the stock hangers that where on the car holding the stock muffler on.Thanks again for your pics and help..

Have black berger panel on now and I still have to clean up the tips and re-spray taillights before spring again.

IMO - I would agree that yours is down too low, but if you like it that's all that matters. I would check the rubber on the hanger brackets and see if it is worn which would cause your exhaust to sit lower. Other than that, I don't know how you would raise it other than modifying the hangers themselves.

It don't look that bad in person. if the rubber on the hanger is bad and I replace it wouldn't that make the driver side go up and the passenger side stay where its at. Because how the passenger side is mounted with out a rubber piece..Next time its on a lift I will take a look at it..But I think I will have to deal with it tho..

By the way the curve that goes over the axle its right at the thin aluminum piece now since I used a big screw driver to bend back the shield a. So I think it cant do no farther up..

Yeah I know what you mean with the shield right over the axle. It's a tight fit with that exhaust. I was able to un-clamp mine at every connection from the Y-pipe and redo it and lift it and still maintain it being centered. Either way, you are right, it looks OK to me. Good luck either way.

I welded it at the curve going over the axle and where the driverside exhaust tail pipe goes in the Y. So I think I have to deal with it. unless I can unbolt it on the passenger side and take out the piece that goes threw the rubber piece and move it up that way..Thanks Jimmy.

The tips past the bumper. I couldn't move them back anymore on the tail pipes. The weaith goes they are centerd They both messure 17" from center of tag to inside of the tips. When I look down my bumper I can hardly see SLP on the tips.

oh well maybe it only looks that way since its low id replace the hangers and then if that doesnt work just weld your own hangers onto the exhaust itself

I tryed hitting the the tips in today and they wont budge. But I did lift up on the tip on the driverside where the rubber hanger is and both sides went up. So Iam gonna try to replace the rubber piece. The bottom of the rear bumper is right at SLP badge pn the tip. But I could take the tips off and sawzall the tail pipes off some for the tips will be even with the bumper..
