    Damn I didnt know that it would be that much cheaper... I'm going with a used LS6 with 50XXX miles on it for 1200 dollars and I dont really trust myself with such a big swap so i was gonna have my local shop do it but not if I can get it for much cheaper

    I already spent the money on the ls6 so getting the new motor is out of the question at this point i hope i dont regret it in the future

    i looked for a few months before i got mine. i wanted to make sure i got what i wanted once. as long as the oil pressure is good you should be good for a while. good luck with it let us know how it goes. check into fuel injectors, and fuel pump next. you may need to bump them up a bit.
